It’s just months Xiaomi released Mi 5s and Mi 5s Plus and now, Codenamed Xiaomi Meri, Xiaomi Mi 5c started to rumoring all over the internet. With the pace of Xiaomi releasing smartphones, Mi 5c is expected to launch very soon.
Leaks and Rumors;
Xiaomi is gearing up to launch a new smartphone, it is most likely the Xiaomi 5c, on December 6 in China. With launch date details, images also leaked on a Weibo post. The images leaked shows the front and back profile of the smartphone. The spotted Mi 5c is expected to feature 2.5D glass display.

With almost the same design of Xiaomi Mi 5, the home button below (which also acts as a fingerprint scanner). The rear camera of Mi 5c is located on the top left corner of the smartphone with Mi logo. This smartphone is expected to launch in two variants.
Pinecone Chipset;
The “About Phone” of Mi 5c reveals some key and new specs of the smartphone, which was rumored a lot of other Xiaomi smartphones. The image reveals that the Xiaomi Mi 5c will be powered by a 2.2GHz octa-core processor but the chipset is yet unknown.
The smartphone is rumored to be powered by Xiaomi’s own Pinecone processor and if this turns out to be true then Xiaomi Mi 5c will be the first smartphone to be powered by a Pinecone chipset.

The smartphone is expected to be priced at RMB 999, which roughly translates to Rs 9,900. The Mi 5c has already been rumored to be an entry-level smartphone. Some other reports suggest the price of Mi 5c RMB 1,499, which is approximately Rs 14,800.
