Google Pixel and Pixel XL has released a month ago with a lot of drawbacks like no water resistant and a lot more. But one among them was the double tap feature, which is one of the most common among phones.
Update added two new entries to the Moves section of settings. You can now double tap your Pixel’s screen to get to wake up and see your notifications and you can achieve the same purpose simply by lifting the phone up (just like iOS 10 feature).
How To Enable It?
To make this feature working you need to enable the feature first but after that, it’s going to be a lot easier to glance at your Pixel screen without pressing the power button or using the fingerprint scanner.
The suspicious thing about this update that it carries build number NPF26J and so far the letter “P” has shown up in that second slot only for preview releases of Google’s software. Which points that it might be an accidental release or maybe the company has changed the way it codifies its build number and the presence of that “P” over there doesn’t mean anything after all.
