Google Pixel is coming up in the next event on Oct 4 and there have been a lot of leaks and rumors. And if you don’t know Google is renaming the Nexus lineup as Pixel. So, there are two Pixel phones expected this year as the next nexus lineup. Lately, Google has also re-branded their very on Nexus launcher (In Android 7.0 Nougat) to Pixel launcher. Making clear gesture of re-branding their smartphones as well.
Into Google Pixel
It is expected to have two variants of Google Pixel (Pixel and Pixel XL) which is being build by HTC. Google as usual has some really cool code names for both of their devices, Sailfish and Marlin. Lots of leaks and render images started coming up. Few are below;
Design Leaks
- Today, prior to the launch, Onleaks managed to put out 360- Degree Video of Google Pixel. There are even exact dimensions of the smartphone that come with the renders (which Onleaks tweeted later). 360-Degree Video is dead below.

This render image clearly proves that Google is coming with a new design especially with a new “G” branding. The lower half of the device is wrapped with metal and surprisingly the upper part is covered with glass or plastic. This design is quite different yet interesting.- As for design, renders has already started flowing inn.
Last week, Android Authority and OnLeaks provided us a 360-degree render video of both the devices and now this leak come out with high-res photo’s of both Sailfish and Marlin, Thanks to the Source who managed this. These do also come with measurements. The smaller, dubbed “S1” measures 4.99 inches in diagonal, while the bigger, “M1” is 5.46 inches.
- There were some TPU (Thermoplastic Polyurethane) cases for Pixel and Pixel XL were up for sales in AliExpress.
If these are in fact cases for Google’s upcoming phone releases, it gives a slight idea of what the final design of these phones will be.
This could be a replica of rendered image by OnLeaks x Android Authority. But at this point of time believing anything could be heartbreak afterwards.
