Xiaomi Redmi 6A With Helio A22, Dual 4G VoLTE, 3000mAh Battery Launched In India

    Xiaomi has launched its latest budget smartphone – Redmi 6A, a successor to last year’s Redmi 5A in India. The main highlight of this smartphone is its AI camera, face unlock feature and the fact that it is aggressively priced.

    Xiaomi Redmi 6A: A Redmi 5A Successor!

    The Redmi 6A packs in a 5.45-inch HD+ 18:9 aspect ratio display with 80.5% screen-to-body ratio, powered by MediaTek Helio A22 SoC, coupled with 2GB RAM, paired with 16GB / 32GB expandable storage, runs on Android Oreo and is backed by a 3000mAh battery.

    Coming to the camera, it features a 13-megapixel rear camera, 5-megapixel front camera both with AI Portrait mode, AI beautify. Apart from that, the 6A comes with dedicated dual SIM slots, Dual 4G VoLTE and as there is no fingerprint sensor – Xiaomi has included face unlock.

    The Xiaomi Redmi 6A comes in Grey, Blue, Gold, and Rose Gold colors, and is priced at Rs. 5999 for the 16GB storage version and Rs 6999 for the 32GB storage version. It will be available exclusively from and starting from September 19th. The company mentioned that this is limited period pricing, and might increase after two months.
