POCO Launcher (Beta) For Xiaomi (MIUI) Phones Available [APK DOWNLOAD]

Xiaomi’s sub-brand POCO launched the POCO F1 running on Android 8.1 Oreo with a Skin on top dubbed as POCO Launcher, which company claimed as MIUI for POCO. This new Skin is regular MIUI but with few additions like stock Android like quick settings and other titbits.

Xiaomi’s POCO launcher showed up on the Play Store. No further a due, the early access program has run out of space. But thanks to APK Mirror, you can still try out for yourself and we can confirm it works fine on other phones, even running Android P.

The very new POCO launcher is for people who want the essence of both stock Android (especially the app drawer) and MIUI. Well, this launcher lets you swipe up from the bottom to open the app drawer.

Not just that, POCO launcher also features a search bar at the bottom, pretty similar to Nova launcher and other third-party launchers. In addition to that, the new launcher from Xiaomi shows quick shortcuts on long press on an app icon.

POCO launcher also lets you hide apps and group them based on their respective categories. There’s a lot to explore on this launcher, but sadly it is supported only on MIUI devices (yet).

Before you go ahead and install, do note – POCO launcher gets installed as an update to MIUI system launcher and replaces the current version, so it is better to backup MIUI system launcher data before installing POCO launcher. If you wish to go back, you need to uninstall updates of system launcher.
