Xiaomi MIUI App Vault Gets New Features To Check Train PNR And More

Xiaomi is the most popular smartphone brand in India and so is the custom skin MIUI that Xiaomi ships with its smartphones. MIUI offers dozens of nifty features that are not present on Stock Android. Well MIUI is the most popular Android skins with more than 300 million worldwide users. That said the impressive MIUI App Vault has got some new features that make it more useful.

Xiaomi has added a couple of new cards including ‘Check train PNR’ and ‘Trending apps’ to MIUI App Vault. Well, Xiaomi is working with Ixigo for ‘Check train PNR’ service. Using this service a user can check PNR status without leaving the home screen. A user needs to enter his 10 digit PNR number for their train journey to see all the details. Furthermore, the card also shows recently checked PNR numbers.

Xiaomi App Vault: New Features

Apart from new cards, users can now fold-unfold empty cards so that they can see more information on the screen. This new feature is presently supported for Notes, Calendar, Cricket and Stocks cards. Furthermore, users now have an option to turn off the App Vault, which can be turned off through Settings > Home screen & Recents.

MIUI App Vault

Users can now manually add companies or brands in which they are interested. This can be done using the ‘Add icon’ in front of ‘My Companies’. Next, users can now also choose the display settings as per their preferences. Xiaomi has also added a ‘Stocks’ card to MIUI App Vault. Lastly, Xiaomi has added another card which shows Today’s `Deal on app vault from shopplus’, clicking on any deal it redirects to Shopclues.com.

So these were some new and nifty features on the Xiaomi MIUI App Vault.
