Motorola recently launched its latest budget oriented smartphone offering the Moto E5. The smartphone offers impressive design ergonomics and a nearly stock Android experience. Well, the Honor 7A launched a few months back is also available in a nearly similar price range. So here’s a detailed comparison between Moto E5 Vs Honor 7A.

The Moto E5 has impressive design ergonomics and the smartphone looks and feels premium. Moto E5 Plus also houses a 5.7-inch HD+ IPS display with a resolution of 1440×720 pixels and an 18:9 aspect ratio. The display is good for consuming media and regular day to day activities.

Honor 7A is powered by Octa-Core Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 coupled with Adreno 505 GPU. The smartphone can handle day to day tasks easily with moderate gaming performance. You can choose between either 2GB or 3GB RAM coupled with 32GB of internal storage. Lastly, the storage can be further expanded to up to 256GB via external SD card.

Moto E5 Plus offers a capable primary 13MP camera with a f/2.0 aperture and 1.12um pixel size. The smartphone also has PDAF. You can expect impressive results in good lighting conditions. That said, the smartphone lags a secondary sensor on the back hence you don’t have features like portrait mode. You also get a 5MP front-facing camera with LED flash.
Honor 7A comes with a 13-megapixel rear camera along with a 2-megapixel secondary sensor. You can also buy a base version with a 13-megapixel single rear camera. The primary sensor has an aperture of f/2.2 and delivers impressive results in bright light. You also get an 8MP front-facing camera with front LED flash and f/2.0 aperture.

Moto E5 runs on a nearly stock version of Android. Well, this help increments the performance and save battery life. Honor 7A runs on a custom skin called EMUI 8.0 which is based on Android version 8.0 Oreo. As a conclusion, Honor 7A outperforms Moto E5 in multiple aspects. That said, you can still buy the Moto E5 if a better battery life and stock Android is your preference.
