Moto E series is the most affordable and popular series of Motorola smartphones. Well, Motorola has now confirmed the launch event for the upgraded Moto E5 Plus. According to the teasers, the major highlight of the smartphone will be its battery life. So here’s everything you need to know about the Moto E5 Plus before its launch.

Moto E5 Plus: Specifications

Moto E series is a budget-oriented smartphone series. Consquently, these smartphones are powerful enough only to support regular day to day tasks. The smartphone offers a 6-inch HD+  Max Vision IPS LCD display with a resolution of 720×1440 pixels and an 18:9 aspect ratio. Furthermore, the smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 SoC, paired with 3GB of RAM coupled with 32GB of internal storage.

As far as the camera is concerned the smartphone may feature a 12-megapixel rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, LED, PDAF, and laser autofocus. On the front side, the smartphone offers an 8-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.2 aperture and selfie LED light. Lastly, the major highlight of the smartphone is the mammoth 5000mAh battery and it supports 15W TurboPower charging that claims to offer 6 hours of usage within 15 minutes of charging.

Moto E5 Plus: Pricing

The Moto E5 Plus was launched for a price of EUR 169 or roughly Rs. 13,500. Since the Indian mid-range smartphone market is dominated by the Chinese manufacturers, Motorola has to launch the smartphone at a price point below Rs. 10,000.

The smartphone offers a nearly clean Stock Android experience accompanied with decent performance. Furthermore, you can expect regular security patches with one or two major software upgrades. Lastly, a low-powered processor and stock android help increase battery life.
