Micromax Canvas 2 Plus can we considered as an upgraded variant of Micromax’s most popular Canvas 2 midrange smartphone launched back in 2012. Micromax Canvas 2 Plus: The Budget-Oriented Smartphone

Micromax Canvas 2 Plus will compete with smartphones from well-established manufacturers like Xiaomi, Honor, ASUS, and Samsung. Well, the smartphone offers decent specifications and an impressive built quality. You even get Face Unlock, front flash and a bright 18:9 display. Furthermore, Micromax is focusing on providing an improvised user-experience rather than just boasting about hardware.

The smartphone will be available in Matt Black and Jet Black color variants. The smartphone will retail for a price of Rs.8999 and will be available through offline retailers throughout India.

Micromax Canvas 2 Plus: Can It Compete

Micromax was a successful Android smartphone manufacturer in India before the Chinese brands completely overtook the market. It is worth noting that, Micromax was the brand that competed with Samsung in the mid-range and budget-oriented smartphone market. Since Micromax didn’t catch up with the changes in Indian smartphone market the outcomes were pathetic.

Furthermore, Canvas 2 Plus doesn’t check all boxes, consedring the price. Some major cons of the smartphone include an old android version, low powered processor, and an average camera performance.
