Scout: The Voice Controlled Web Browser
Firefox web browser developer Mozilla is said to be working on a completely voice controlled web browser. Well, a listing has came up for an all-hands internal Mozilla meeting. The listing called as “Technical Stack Requirement For A Voice Browser” introduced Scout. Furthermore, Mozilla has clearly declared that it’s an “early stage project”.
If the project ends up to be successful users will be able to browse the internet without the need for a touchscreen, keyboard and a mouse. Scout is described as a way to “start to explore browsing and consuming content with voice.” Presently, the project is introduced only to the company employees. Consequently, not much information about the project is available yet.

Scout: The Future Of Web Browsing
Every major company like Google, Apple, Microsoft, and Amazon now have their full-fledged Voice Assistants. Furthermore, these companies are continuously working and improving their virtual assistants. Consequently, Mozilla is also entering the market with its own voice-controlled web-browser. The official example given was “Hey Scout, read me the article about polar bears”
