Redmi 6 And Redmi 6A Launched In China Specifications, Details And Price!

Xiaomi unveiled the latest upgrades of its most popular budget oriented Redmi series. Well, Xiaomi has launched two models namely Redmi 6A and Redmi 6. Both these smartphones run on MIUI 10 based on Android version 8.1. So here’s everything you need to know about the new Redmi Series.

1.Redmi 6A 

Redmi 6A is a powerful smartphone and offers perfect bang for the buck. The smartphone offers an impressive design coupled with a 5.45-inch display with 18:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek A22 processor clocked at 2.0 GHz coupled with 2GB RAM and 16GB internal storage.

Redmi 6A offers a dual camera setup with a 13MP+5MP sensors and a 5MP front-facing camera. The smartphone is priced at Yuan 599 or roughly Rs 6,300. Xiaomi claims that MIUI on Redmi 6A is highly optimized. Consequently, this reduces system apps memory usage by about 30%.

2.Redmi 6

Redmi 6 is the next budget-oriented smartphone by Xiaomi. Well, the smartphone has pleasing design ergonomics and comes in blue and gold color variants. Redmi 6 will feature a 5.45-inches display with an aspect ratio of 18:9. Redmi 6 will be powered by the exact same Helio A22 processor.

The smartphone will come in either 3GB/32GB or 4GB/64GB RAM and storage variants. Redmi 6 will feature a dual camera setup with 12MP+5MP sensors. Lastly, Xiaomi will also offer Face Unlock in Redmi 6. The smartphone will retail for Yuan 799 or roughly Rs 8,000 and Yuan 999 or roughly Rs 11,000 based on RAM and storage variant you opt for.

Apart from that both these smartphones will feature improved AI capabilities like when you pick up the phone, the screen will automatically wake and you can unlock the phone with AI Face Unlock. Well, Xiaomi has also integrated Xiaomi’s proprietary Xiao Ai voice assistant with the phone’s camera which can recognize plants, vehicles, living environments, as well as items for price comparison.
