BlackBerry unveiled its latest smartphone offering the BlackBerry Key 2. The smartphone looks and feels premium, and easily stand out from the crowd of glass slabs. The Key 2 is a fine refinement of the KEYone. So here are few good and few bad things about the BlackBerry Key 2.

The Key 2 stands between mid-range and flagship smartphones when it comes to features and specifications. The device offers a 4.5 inches IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1080 x 1620 pixels. Major highlights of the phone include a physical keyboard that helps increase productivity and saves time, an impressive camera performance and enhanced security built inside the software.

It is powered by the Qualcomm SDM660 Snapdragon 660 processor coupled with Adreno 512 GPU. The smartphone offers 6GB of RAM coupled with either 64GB or 128GB of storage, which can be further expanded up to 256GB. All this backed up by a 3500 mAh battery and also supports Quick Charge 3.0.

Blackberry has done an impressive job in terms of design and overall build quality. The height of the keyboard has been increased by 20% and it now features a matte finish. Speed Key also is one of the many nifty features that a physical keyboard offers.

The smartphone features a highly capable camera with a 12MP f/1.8, 1.28um sensor, and a telephoto f/2.6, 1.28um sensor that has its added benefits.

Well, BlackBerry claims that the phone tracks your usage and battery charging patterns, that can help the phone to last up to two days. Lastly, you also get a dedicated button which can be assigned as any shortcut or any other task as per your preference.

Well, many people won’t even notice that BlackBerry Key 2 is in existence. These days almost, everyone is adapted to virtual keyboards on smartphones. The 3:2 aspect ratio display on the BlackBerry Key 2, won’t be appreciated by everyone.

Lastly, the smartphone offers less hardware as compared to smartphones in the similar price range. You can get a OnePlus 6 for the price of a Blackberry Key 2.
