Well, you get around 90 percent screen-to-body ratio and an 18.7:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone also has a 26.17mm notch on top and a significant 7.69mm bezel on the bottom.

On the other hand, Redmi Note 5 Pro offers a premium looking design inspired by the iPhone X. The display of the Redmi Note 5 Pro is bright and looks impressive. Redmi Note 5 Pro offers a 5.99 inches display with a resolution of 1080 x 2160 and 18:9 aspect ratio.

The Redmi Note 5 Pro is powered by the same 1.8GHz OctaCore Snapdragon 636 processor coupled with Adreno 509 GPU. The Redmi Note 5 Pro is available in 4GB / 6GB LPDDR4x RAM variants with 32GB / 64GB storage options. The Redmi Note 5 pro is backed up by a 4000mAh battery.

The Lenovo Z5 comes with a vertical dual camera setup. It offers a  16-megapixel primary rear camera sensor and an 8-megapixel secondary sensor with f/2.0 aperture. The camera supports AI capabilities, HDR+, and 4K support. You also an 8-megapixel selfie camera with f/2.0 aperture and full-HD video recording.

Things get serious with the Redmi Note 5 Pro as it features a dual camera setup with a 12-megapixel primary sensor with an aperture of f/2.2, while the 5-megapixel secondary sensor has a f/2.0 aperture. Lenovo Z5 runs ZUI 3.9 custom skin based on Android 8.1 Oreo. The custom skin offers some helpful features. The Redmi Note 5 Pro still runs on Android 7.1 based on MIUI 9. The custom skin consumes a decent amount of resources but offers dozens of additional features. Lastly, Redmi Note 5 Pro will soon receive Android 8.1 update based on MIUI 10.

Lenovo Z5 price in China will retail at CNY 1,399 (roughly Rs. 14,700) and CNY 1,799 (roughly Rs. 18,900) based on storage variant you choose. While the Redmi Note 5 Pro is available for 13,999 or 16,999 based on the storage and RAM variant you choose.
