Instagram Is Testing Screenshot Alerts For Its Stories

Instagram has been testing a whole bunch of new feature and one among them is screenshot alerts of others stories. With this new feature, Instagram will show users when someone takes a screenshot of their story.

Screenshot Alerts On Instagram Stories

The testing of this feature is only to limited to selected users and these testers can see who took screenshots of their stories from the list of story viewers and will also be able to see a new camera shutter logo next to anyone who takes a screenshot of their photo.

Do note, Instagram will not show a dedicated notification, rather it will only show the list of story viewers. As of now, Instagram shows screenshots of direct message conservation. and if everything goes good, we might soon see this feature in action.

There’s a workaround or say a trick to get the screenshot without any information, according to few users, putting the phone in flight mode before taking the screen won’t trigger Instagram’s warning. Just to remind you guys, this feature is in Snapchat.
