Xiaomi India has sent out press invites for its first launch of 2018 in India on February 14. The invite just has the number ‘5’ along with the date, which apparently means that it could Redmi 5 series that was introduced in China back in December last year.

Redmi 5 or Redmi Note 5?
Earlier, rumors said that Redmi 5 plus might be launched globally as the Redmi Note 5, but the recent rumors said that the company will have an Explorer Program before introducing the Redmi Note 5. However, do note, there is no explorer program announced yet.
