Ahead of CES, Lenovo has unveiled nine new 2018 ThinkPad models today. While all the new models primarily focused on businesses, but the X series laptops are interesting, especially with its portability and privacy-conscious.

Latest ThinkPad Models
Lenovo‘s latest ThinkPad X series has two models; X280 and X380 Yoga. Both the models are powered by Intel’s latest 8-generation Core i7 processors, coupled with 16GB RAM, up to 1TB SSD and USB-C power adapters.
The X380 Yoga has typical Yoga hinge making it (sorta) two-in-one laptop with stylus included. Noticeably, the regular X280 and the ThinkPad T series comes with a new “ThinkShutter” physical webcam cover, which protects your privacy of the camera. Although the X380 Yoga doesn’t include the webcam cover, but it does include an IR camera for Windows Hello face recognition.

In addition to that, Lenovo has refreshed T series and L series with Intel’s 8th-generation processors. All the three new ThinkPad T series include “ThinkShutter”, moreover, the T480 and T580 also include a Windows Hello camera.

In extension to that, the L series value business laptops include support USB-C with two ports each and USB-C power adapter as well. The new ThinkPad will be available this month. Well, here are the pricing;
- ThinkPad X280 starts at $999 (roughly Rs 63,320 / EUR 830).
- ThinkPad X380 Yoga priced from $1459 (roughly Rs 92,480 / EUR 1213).
- T Series ThinkPads start at $989 (roughly Rs 62,690 / EUR 822).
- L Series starts at $609 (roughly Rs 38,600 / EUR 506).
