Instagram Recommended Posts
This feature was spotted while in testing a month ago and has since quietly gone live. Instagram has labeled “Recommended For You” clearly so as not to be confused with your own home feed. According to TechCrunch, the section will contain three to five suggested posts.
Previously if you wanted to see some recommended posts you would have to visit the Explore section, which clearly does not interfere with the user’s normal feed browsing. It is worth noting that, this very new section is an evolution of how Instagram has moved the chronological order in favor of algorithmic feed.
