Microsoft Azure Bot Framework is more than two years old and the company has been building a variety of chatbots ever since. Well, today, the company has made Microsoft Azure Bot Service and Microsoft Cognitive Language Understanding Service (LUIS), public.

Microsoft Azure Bot Service
The Azure Bot Service and the LUIS, both were generally available through the tech titan’s Azure cloud platform. This Bot Engine provides companies a managed service that can be used to build intelligently automated conversation partners.
On the other side, LUIS lets customer create intelligent engines that can parse written text into a form that other applications can use. Both the services are here to help customers take advantage of AI technology without the use of expensive domain experts.

Lili Cheng, corporate vice president at the Microsoft AI and Research division said that, more than 200,000 developers have signed up for the Bot service, and they currently have 33,000 active bots in areas like retail, healthcare, financial services and insurance.
