Facebook Messenger Instant Games Gets Live Streaming And Video Chat

Facebook Messenger has been adding features to its Messenger app, whether it’s Instant Games, Messenger Day or revamp of its UI. Well, Facebook Messenger has completed one year and on the occasion, the company has introduced new games and few new features.

Instant Games Gets Live Streaming

The Instant Games on Messenger finally gets the ability to live stream with your friends and engage in conversations. Just to let you know, currently, the Messenger platform has over 70 games from more than 100 developers.

This live streaming feature will let you choose the audience that you want to broadcast to and add a short description to it. Once you end the broadcast, the video will be posted to your page or profile.

How To Start Live Streaming?

  • Open Messenger
  • Tap the new camera icon (upper right corner of the game screen)
  • That’s it!

Apart from the live streaming feature, Messenger games will also add the ability to play games while video chatting with your friends, which will be available early next year and Zynga will be the first game to use it.

In addition to that, Facebook has announced new Angry Birds game built for Messenger, along with Tetris Messenger, Sonic Jump from SEGA, Disney Tsum Tsum, Puzzle & Dragons and more. These games will be available in the coming weeks or months.
