Xiaomi has announced its latest budget-end smartphone; Xiaomi Redmi 5A aka Desh Ka Smartphone. Both the Redmi 4A and Redmi 5A have almost same hardware and features. Although the difference is that it comes with a dedicated MicroSD card slot.

Xiaomi Redmi 5A
The Desh Ka Smartphone sports a 5-inch HD display, which is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 processor, coupled with 2GB / 3GB RAM, 16GB / 32GB expandable storage, runs on MIUI 9 and all these are backed by a 3000mAh battery.
Coming to the camera department, the 5A features a 13-megapixel camera with f/2.2 aperture, while the front-facing selfie camera is of 5-megapixel with f/2.0 aperture. On the connectivity side, the 5A features 4G, VoLTE, Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth and IR blaster.

The Xiaomi Redmi 5A comes in Dark Grey, Gold, and Rose Gold colors, and is priced at Rs 5,999 (roughly US$93 / EUR78 ) for the 2GB + 16GB variant, while the 3GB + 32GB variant is priced at Rs 6,999 (roughly US$108 / EUR91). It will be available in Mi.com, Mi Home Stores, and Flipkart on December 7 at 12 PM.

- Users will get a price cut of Rs 1000 on both the variants.
- Users will get a special “ALL UNLIMITED” monthly plan of Rs 199 from Jio, which includes free voice, unlimited data (1GB daily), unlimited SMS and Jio apps for 28 days.
