OnePlus has released its first OxygenOS Open Beta build for OnePlus 5, as promised at the OnePlus 5T launch earlier this month. So, OnePlus 5 users can now taste several features of Android 8.0 Oreo.

OnePlus 5 Receives Android Oreo Update
The first open beta builds update brings in Android Oreo features like background limit, battery life improvement, snoozing notifications to reappear at a later time and a wide color gamut of apps.
If you own a OnePlus 5, you can join the programme and can download the Open Beta 1 build. However, it is worth noting that once you are on any of the Open Beta Build, you will not receive the official stable OTA update.
