Sony PlayStation app has allowed console owners to manage their friend list and view their achievement on the go, the app has been live on Android since 2012. But the downside of the app was, it didn’t mirror the PlayStation’s interface. Well, killing the downside, Sony has updated and introduced a new UI.

The redesign is much cleaner with an added (updated) bottom tab, improves navigation. Now, the text is easier to read, the blue background is gone and the whole experience of the app feels more viable and easy to use.
In the latest update, there is a new PS button at the bottom, which brings up a quick access to the menu with shortcuts to the PlayStation Store, trophies, messages and more. Well, the app has been jumped from version 4.0 to version 17.11, probably to catch the iOS app.
