EXCLUSIVE: Leak Confirms OnePlus 5T Pricing To Remain Same, Starting At Rs 32,999

Exclusive: Over the past weeks, there has been hype building around OnePlus‘s next flagship smartphone; OnePlus 5T. This is just a few months after OnePlus 5‘s launch, which broke the internet with its specs and pricing.

OnePlus 5T Pricing

A few days ago, OnePlus’ CEO, Pete Lau, tweeted that the cost of smartphone components is rising and also said that OnePlus users will appreciate what’s coming. Well, this was a clear hint that OnePlus 5T could be priced higher than the OnePlus 5. However, our trusted source has exclusively confirmed to TechDipper that OnePlus 5T will be priced same as OnePlus 5.

The above image is a leak that we got from our trusted source, clearly coincides with following part of Pete’s tweet “OnePlus users will appreciate what’s coming”. Looking at the image, the OnePlus 5T will come in two variant – 6GB RAM + 64GB storage and 8GB RAM + 128GB storage. The 6GB RAM variant is to be priced at Rs 32,999 in India (roughly about US$505), while the high-end 8GB RAM variant is to be priced at Rs 37,999 in India (roughly US$581) same as its predecessor OnePlus 5.

OnePlus introducing the OnePlus 5T, on top of that, at the same price, might cause dismay in OnePlus 5 customers, since they spend exactly the same amount to get a smaller screen and an older version of the phone. However, the future buyers will get more value for what they are going to pay.
