Xiaomi introduced its new fitness tracker, the Mi Band 3. The Mi Band 3 has a bigger, higher resolution OLED display. Well, the Mi Band 3 is priced in the same price range as its predecessors. Mi band 3 is initially introduced in China only.

A few months back Xiaomi also introduced an upgraded variant of the Mi Band 2 known as Mi Band HRX Edition. Furthermore, both these trackers are available in same price segments. Hence, here’s is a detailed comparison between Mi Band 3 Vs Mi Band HRX Edition.
Mi Band 3 Vs Mi Band HRX: Design And Display
The new Mi Band 3 has an improved 0.78-inch OLED display with a resolution of 128 x 80 pixels. According to Xiaomi the Mi Band 3 will be more comfortable on the wrist. The design ergonomics of the Mi Band 3 are similar to its predecessors and it is available in orange, black and blue color variants.
On the other hand, the Mi band HRX edition has a 0.42-inch OLED Display. The Xiaomi Mi Band HRX Limited Edition comes in Black + Black and Blue + Black colored bands with Green and orange bands as well. Overall the band has a decent design considering the price. This band has an Ultra Light Body weighing only 7grams.
Mi Band 3 Vs Mi Band HRX: Features And Battery
Mi band 3 has improved features in almost every sphere. It features Bluetooth 4.2 and performs all the basic functions like counting steps and measuring heart rate. Furthermore, the Mi Band 3 can also be used to attend calls. The Mi Band 3 also has a higher version that comes with NFC. Consequently, it can be used to pay wirelessly as well.
The Mi Band 3 is powered by a 110 mAh battery, which can last up to 20 days. Lastly, the Mi Band 3 is water resistant up to 50 meters. On the other hand, the Mi Band HRX Edition can be used to Tracks Steps and Sleep. Mi band HRX edition has 2nd Generation Low-Energy Bluetooth 4.0 Chipset.

Well, Mi band HRX has a better battery life as compared to Mi Band 3, it can last up to 23 days once fully charged. Lastly, Mi band HRX Edition has IP67 ratings for Water Resistance.
