Chillx: New Multilingual App From Reliance Entertainment

Reliance Entertainment announced a new venture, an Android app called Chillx. The entertainment has invested in a company called FunOnGo Media & Entertainment LLP, which is a digital media and a distribution company, founded by Vijay Singh and Ujjwal Narayan.



Chillx is, of course, an entertainment based platform aimed at placing the power of choice in the hands of consumers/users. The app will give users choice in language, entertainment formats, genres as well as in payment mechanisms. Much like any other app, the contents of this app is also available in major Indian regional languages like Bengali, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Malayalam, Punjabi, Marathi and Gujarati.

While apps downloaded are mostly in line with global popularity, interest in content consumption in regional language is high. We see smartphone screen as a fantastic gateway to the consumer and our cross functional team will leverage its understanding of content and industry relationships to amplify value offering to the consumer.



What does Chillx deliver?

The app is a digitally curated store of games, music,viral videos clips, entertainment news, short films and full-length movies. Chillx also contains an exhaustive games section, which also offers a trial before you buy them.
