HTC’s TouchPal Keyboard Showing Ads
The news came from two Reddit posts, well, these Redditors were the owners (of course) and wanted to see if others were facing similar issues or not. The problem seems to arise from the fact that TouchPal’s usage license with HTC may have expired.
Switching to a new third-party or native Google keyboard is that you will have to add all the dictionary suggestions once again. To all those HTC owners, who are facing this ad problem, there are alternative keyboard apps and one among them is GBoard Keyboard. It supports every other feature you want in a keyboard.

How To Default Keyboard App?
To change your default TouchPal keyboard to GBoard keyboard (let’s assume), head on to Settings > Language and input > Keyboard and input methods > select your new downloaded keyboard (GBoard) from the list.
Not to forget, you do need to uninstall your TouchPal keyboard to use the new third party keyboard. Well, if you don’t want to hassle yourself, you may need to wait until HTC comes up with a solution, they should release an update soon.
