Coolpad has launched a new budget-end smartphone called Cool Play 6 in China. The Cool Play 6 looks aesthetically premium with a metal unibody design with a fingerprint scanner located just below the rear cameras.

The Cool Play 6 sports a 5-inch Full HD in-cell display, powered by QualcomSnapdragon 653 processor with Adreno 510 GPU, paired with 6GB RAM, runs on Android Nougat and has 64GB expandable storage.
The Cool Play 6 has a 13-megapixel dual rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, phase detection autofocus (PDAF), dual tone LED flash. While it has 8-meagpixel front-facing camera with a f/2.2 aperture for selfies. The smartphone comes packed with powerful 4060 mAh.

Coolpad Cool Play 6 comes in Gold and Black color options and is priced at 1499 Yuan (which roughly equals to Rs 14,032 and US$217). The smartphone will be available starting on May 16 in China. There is no word from the company about the availability of the handset in other markets.
