Xiaomi India Teases A New Redmi Smartphone, Redmi 4 Expected

Xiaomi has launched its budget Redmi smartphone – Redmi 4A back in March in India, now Xiaomi India is gearing up for its next release, which is expected to be Redmi 4. We have reported Xiaomi intentions to bring the Redmi 4 in India. Well, the countdown begins.

The smartphone was announced back in November. It comes in two variants; the standard variant and high-end variant. Alright, the standard variant has a 5-inch (720p) 2.5D glass display, powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 SoC and is paired with 2GB of RAM.


Coming to the high-end variant, it has a 5-inch (1080p) 2.5D curved glass display, powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 625 SoC with Adreno 506 GPU and is paired with 3GB RAM. Well, both the variant has expandable storage with up to 128GB.

The Xiaomi Redmi 4 is expected to launch in India later this month. Well, it is not clear if both the standard variant Redmi 4 and the Redmi 4 Pro (high-end) are launching or not. There are more details yet to come. Stay tuned.
