After a lot of leaks and renders, Xiaomi has finally launched its next-gen Mi Pad 3 in China. Though there are a lot which differs from the rumors and leaks that came earlier.

The Pad 3 features an all-metal unibody design with a 7.9-inch retina display with 2048 x 1536 resolution, yes, same as that of iPad. It is powered by MediaTek MT8176 SoC clocked at 2.1GHz, paired with 4GB RAM and 64GB Storage.
It has a 13-megapixel rear camera with f/2.2 aperture and a 5-megapixel front-facing selfie camera. The device runs on Android Marshmallow with Xiaomi’s MIUI 8 on top. All these is fueled by a 6,600mAh battery with fast charge support.

The Pad 3 is available in Champagne Gold color is priced at 1,499 Yuan (which roughly equals to Rs 14,200 and US$217) and will go on sale starting tomorrow (i.e April 6) at 6 AM on various channels. Well, there is no word on when it launch in India. Either way, stay tuned for more updates on this.
