Samsung introduced its flagship Exynos 8 Octa 8890 14nm SoC more than a year ago. The Exynos 8 has been used in the last years Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge smartphones.

The Exynos 9 will likely be used in the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8+ in most of the market including India, while some markets will get it’s Snapdragon 835 SoC. According to previous reports regarding the new generation, chips is said to be built using the 10nm FinFET process and is expected to combine with Samsung’s proprietary M2 CPU cores.
