Video streaming or watching has gone too far. Users now want an immersive video experience.
How Does It Work?
Twitter announced that its video streaming service, Periscope will now support 360-degree video support. This feature can be initiated using a device called Insta360 Camera that attaches to a smartphone and shoot native 360-degree video.

Is Insta360 Camera, A Product From Twitter?
To use Periscope’s 360-degree video feature, a user definitely needs to have Insta360 Camera, well it seems like Twitter is coming with a product to enhance the experience of the users just like Snapchat did with its Spectacles.
Though this is just a prediction, but looking at the Twitter’s growth rate and the user’s reach, this could even happen.

How To Determine It’s 360-Degree Video?
Viewers will know whether a video is normal or 360 enabled by a red “Live 360” or “Periscope 360” tag, which will appear on the video. But if the tag doesn’t appear then it is nearly impossible to determine whether the video is normal or 360-degree enabled.
Hopefully, the future updates will enable this feature to let the viewers know that they are watching a full fledged 360-degree video. Well, before you go and try out your own, this is feature is under testing with Twitter/Periscope partners and hasn’t gone public yet, so don’t try as this isn’t supported yet (at least for now).
