Vine Will Relaunch As ‘Vine Camera’ In January, What’s New?

In October, Twitter (parent company of Vine) stated that it is going to shut down its six seconds video sharing app Vine.

The announcement from Twitter has shaken many popular Vine content creators and fans, but it seems like Twitter is backtracking its move and now the microblogging site has provided an update about the future of the six seconds video sharing app.

What’s New In Vine Camera?

Vine’s mobile app will remain as it is but will be rebranded as Vine Camera. Well, nothing’s changed you can still make the same six seconds looping video using Vine Camera and these videos can be then either saved to your mobile device or shared on Twitter. The app will be launched in January on both Android and iOS.

In the meantime the Vines that were posted to the Vine.co website before the October announcement will also be made available for download. Addition to that the Twitter will also make some setup a way for people to link their Vine and Twitter accounts so that fans can quickly find and get connected to the creator on Twitter.

Anyways, this makes sure that Vine is will be running and Twitter has no plans to shut the six seconds video sharing app anytime soon.
