Sennheiser updated its already released PXC 550 wireless headphones with the latest Sennheiser PXC 550-II with adaptive noise cancellation. This updated 550-II headphone comes with improved battery life and Anti-wind ANC settings.
Sennheiser PXC 550-II Wireless ANC Headphones
The Sennheiser PXC 550-II relates to the class of premium ANC headphones that are dominated by Sony WH-100M3 and the Bose 700. The second-gen PXC 550 has mainly updated its internals, while the design remains unchanged.
The sound quality expected to live up to the Sennheiser name, which outputs outstanding clarity with excellent dynamics. The headphone supports high-quality AAC codecs including Qualcomm’s AptX codec and connected via Bluetooth 5.0. Not just that, the company has also added AptX Low Latency to ensure that audio and video stay in perfect sync.
Besides, Sennheiser has also improved the adaptive noise cancellation with a triple microphone array that can adapt to the ambient noise levels to provide the exact level of needed suppression. The company has also added a new feature called Anti-Wind ANC which enables noise cancellation to work well outdoors.

Sennheiser PXC 550-II: Controls
Controlling the Sennheiser PXC 550-II is via the Touchpad on the right ear cup, using which users can adjust volume, play, pause or skip tracks, or even accept calls at a touch. The headphones automatically turn on/off when the user unfolds/folds it.
In addition to that, Sennheiser PXC 550-II Smart Pause will automatically pause the audio when the user takes off the headphones and resume it when they wear it again, a pretty good addition to the fleet of features.

Coming to the battery life, Sennheiser claims 20 hours of battery life with headphones connected via Bluetooth and ANC switched on, and up to 30 hours when using ANC and a wired connection. You can also personalise audio experience via Sennheiser Smart Control app, which can also adjust the noise cancellation levels.
The Sennheiser PXC 550-II is priced at Rs 29,999 and is available now at offline stores today and will be available on Amazon.
