ASUS is a well-known computer electronics brand that manufactures all sort of laptops ranging from gaming laptops to ultraslim notebooks. ASUS unveiled a mixture of both portability and performance known as the Zephyrus S. The Zephyrus S is the thinnest gaming laptop that ASUS produces.

Asus Zephyrus S: Design Aesthetics
The new ASUS Zephyrus series of gaming laptops have Aluminum, magnesium, and plastic construction. These laptops offer chiclet-style backlit keyboard, marked WASD keys, 4 zones of RGB backlight mode, 1.2mm travel distance, and Aura Sync technology. Asus ROG Zephyrus S features 2X2W external speakers with Smart AMP technology and an array microphone.
Just like its predecessors the new gaming laptops in the Zephyrus series still have the trackpad on the right side of the keyboard. Asus has used the improved version of Active Aerodynamic System for cooling the smaller form-factor chassis. Furthermore, ASUS will also offer a central command app called Armoury Crate this will help users get complete control over lighting, performance, and fan settings.

ASUS Zephyrus S: Features And Specifications
ASUS will be launching two models for the Zephyrus S known as GX531GS and GX531GM. The Asus Zephyrus S features a 15.6-inch full-HD IPS-level display with narrow bezels, a refresh rate of 144Hz, and 100 percent sRGB color gamut. These gaming laptops are powered by 8th gen Intel Core i7-8750H processor, coupled with 8GB of DDR4 2,666MHz RAM, which is further expandable to up to 16GB on the GX531GS and up to 24GB on the GX531GM.
As far as graphics are concerned, the GS model comes with an Nvidia GeForce GTX 1070 graphics card with 8GB of GDDR5 VRAM and the GM model has a Nvidia GeForce GTX 1060 graphics card with 6GB GDDR5 VRAM. Lastly, there are 2 512GB SSD (M.2 NVMe PCIe 3.0) on the GS model. While 256GB/ 512GB/ 1TB x4 SSD on the GM model.
Both these models of the ASUS ROG Zephyrus S have been classified under the AAA Gaming category, so these laptops are dedicated for high-end PC gaming. The ASUS Zephyrus S with a 1070 MaxQ chip will start shipping on August 31st, exclusively at Amazon for $2,199. On the other hand, the lower-end GTX 1060 variant will be available in mid-October as a “channel-wide” release, for $2,099.
