HP announced a range of Omen and HP Pavillion Gaming laptops at its Gaming Festival in Beijing. Among all the launches, HP announced the world’s first dual-screen gaming laptop – HP Omen X 2s, first of its kind laptop with liquid metal compound cooled CPU.

HP Omen X 2S: World’s First Dual-Screen Gaming Laptop
The HP Omen X 2s comes with either 15-inch 1080p or 4K display options. The second screen is a 6-inch 1080p touchscreen mounted above the keyboard. The display has a refresh rate of 144Hz and another model with a 240Hz refresh rate is expected to come later this year.
Coming to other hardware, the Omen X 2s is powered by a 9th generation Intel Core i9 processor, up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 graphics, 32GB DDR4 RAM, PCIe SSD, RAID 0, and IntelOptane memory with SSD as storage options. Coming to ports, there are 3 x USB 3.1 Type A ports, 1 x ThunderBolt 3 USB Type-C port, 1 x HDMI 2.0 port, a Gigabit Ethernet port and a 3.5mm audio jack.

The Omen X 2s comes with the new ‘OMEN Tempest Cooling’ technology which contains 3-sided venting for 5-way airflow and a 12V fan module with a 3-phase motor and fluid dynamic bearings. Not just that, users also get the ability to do real-time screen mirroring, monitor the system performance and customize the RGB lighting with the OMEN Command Center.
The laptop has a 20mm metal chassis and weighs 2.34 kgs. Well, the HP Omen X 2S laptop starts at US$2099.99 (~Rs. 1,47,350) and will be available by June in the US with the 240Hz option expected to be available in July.
