Realme Buds Air Neo With R1 Chip, Bluetooth 5.0 Leaked Ahead Of Launch

A leak surfaced online confirming the existence of a new Realme True Wireless earphones (TWS), dubbed as Realme Buds Air Neo. This new (existing) earphone is expected to be the affordable yet alternative version of the original Realme Buds Air.

Realme Buds Air Neo: The Affordable Buds

According to leaks, the Realme Buds Air Neo will have a similar design to the original Buds Air, which is evidently seen as the retail box has shared the same design cues to the standard Buds Air. Apart from being affordable, the new earphone will feature an extensive battery life with up to 17 hours of usage on a single charge over Bluetooth 5.0.

To cut the price, this earphone will lack wireless charging and come with a micro-USB port, unlike its pricey variant. Based on leaks, the earphone is anticipated to sport a custom R1 chip, 13mm audio drivers, and support Realme Gaming Mode that ensures low-latency in audio streaming.

In addition to that, the earphone is said to use an optical sensor to determine the position of the ears. Much like Realme Buds Air, the Neo will have support for Realme’s Game Mode; however, it will reduce latency by 51 percent to improve the audio experience.
