Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi has launched its latest and long-teased Redmi Note 9 Pro and Note 9 Pro Max in India. Both of these smartphones have a lot of similarities. However, the main difference lies in the camera optics and charging capabilities.

The Note 9 Pro and Note 9 Pro Max packs in a 6.67-inch Full HD+ LCD screen with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection and is powered by Snapdragon 720G 8nm SoC. Speaking of differences, the Note 9 Pro sports a 48-megapixel primary rear camera with Samsung GM2 Sensor, while the Note 9 Pro Max comes with a 64-megapixel camera with a Samsung GW1 sensor.

Other than the main cameras, all the other cameras are similar. Meaning, the 8-megapixel 120-degree ultra-wide-angle lens, 5-megapixel 2cm macro sensor, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. At the front, Note 9 Pro features a 16-megapixel camera while the Note 9 Pro Max features a 32-megapixel camera.

Both these have a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, dedicated dual SIM and microSD card slots, and pack a 5200mAh battery, which is 700mAh more than its predecessor. Well, the Note 9 Pro comes with support for 18W fast charging, and the Pro Max comes with 33W fast charging that can charge up to 50% in under 30 minutes and comes with a fast charger in the box.
