1MORE Piston Fit BT Headphones: Build & Design
The 1MORE Piston Fit BT looks pretty good and has a plastic build with an aluminum alloy (driver) body making up a 10mm Titanium Dynamic Driver, weighing 18 grams. The headset comes in all black and features a neckband-style design, though the actual neckband is just a cable, which is good for a long period usage.
The driver unit is cylindrical with 45°oblique-angled nozzles that naturally lay in your ear canals for a tight, secure fit; however, it sticks out of ears with no discomfort. Much like most the wireless headphones, this headphone features magnetic join, which wasn’t strong enough (in our testing); nevertheless, it provided a necklace like shape for convenient storage around your neck, when not in use.
There are two modules in this earphone- one with the four-button controls and the mic, while the other module houses what we assume to be a 130mAh battery. There is also a MicroUSB port to charge the headset, though we wish 1MORE opted for USB-C here, no deal-breaker, anyway.
Speaking of functionality, the first button (from the driver) acts as on/off and for call attending/disconnecting, while central buttons are volume buttons, and the last button works as play/pause. That said, the control buttons could have been more clicky for a better feel.
1MORE Piston Fit BT Headphones: Audio Quality
The pairing process of this earphone is no complication; in fact, it is pretty nimble, thanks to the optimized Bluetooth 5 chipset inside. The signal strength and range of the headset was good. As with any headphone, the most important thing to consider is how the headphones sound, and thankfully, these headphones sounded pretty good.
The earphone has a flat sound profile (for the most part). The lows were subtle, while mid-range is quite distinct with a slight bit of mid boost, which is pretty standard among budget headphones. Speaking of highs, it wasn’t awe-inspiring and performed like a charm.
Furthermore, the earphone seems to have smooth bass, not deep enough, so if you’re basshead, this headset isn’t for you. Besides, this earphone is best suited for people who enjoy clean vocals and instrumentals. As this headset features IPX4 water and sweat resistance, you can use it for outdoor activities, though, we don’t recommend it.

The noise isolation is good for the daily commute, and speaking of battery, the earphones come with a 130mAh battery that comes out to be pretty good. Well, with moderate usage, the headset will last you just a day. It takes almost around an hour to charge fully, as promised. All apart, this earphone throws out a good sound considering the price, and the in-line microphone worked well without any issues.
PROS
- Solid build quality
- A good mixture of vocals and bass
- Reliable in-line mic
CONS
- Mediocre magnetic join
- Battery life could have been better
- Slightly high charging time
- Lacks USB-C port
Verdict
We have tested 1MORE Piston Fit in-ear headphones for well over two weeks, so the conclusion is appropriate. 1MORE Piston Fit BT headphone is priced at Rs 2,999 (at the time of writing), and for this pricing, the build and the sound quality are pretty good. The stand-out USP is the magnetic join and audio output in a decent form factor.
