Amazon has launched it’s new Echo Input Portable Smart Speaker Edition in India. The main highlight of this voice-controlled smart speaker is that it combines hands-free access to Alexa with a 4,800 mAh rechargeable battery promising 10 hours of playback.

The Echo Input Portable Smart Speaker Edition has fabric design with 360-degree sound, which lets you access Alexa from anywhere in the room using the same far-field voice recognition as other Echo devices.
As mentioned above, this speaker sports 4800mAh rechargeable battery that gives out (up to) 10hrs of continuous music playback (up to 11hrs of standby time). You can tap the power button to see the current battery level indicated by the 4 LEDs. This speaker is compatible with hundreds of smart home devices from Philips, Wipro, Syska, TP-Link and more.
Furthermore, this Smart Speaker can stream music from Amazon Prime Music, Apple Music, JioSaavn, and Gaana. You ask Alexa to play music, control compatible smart home devices, answer questions, read the news, check the weather, and more.
The features don’t stop here. If you are privacy concerns? Well, this Smart Speaker Edition is built with multiple layers of privacy protections and controls, including a microphone off button that electronically disconnects the microphones.
The Amazon Echo Input Portable Smart Speaker Edition comes in Black color and is priced at Rs. 4999. It is available for order on Amazon.in, and will ship starting from December 18th.
