Realme X With Snapdragon 710, 48MP Rear Camera, In-Display Fingerprint Sensor Announced

After a bunch of rumors and leaks, Realme announced its latest top-end smartphone- Realme X. The main highlight of the smartphone is its narrow bezel display, mid-range hardware along with new gel cooling and the sixth-generation in-display fingerprint scanner.

Realme X: The Real Mid-Range Dagger?

The Realme X packs in a 6.53-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display from Samsung with 2.2mm narrow border on the top and 1.62mm ultra narrow bezels on the sides offering 91.2% screen-to-body ratio, powered by Snapdragon 710, coupled with 4GB/6GB/8GB RAM, and is paired with 64GB/128GB storage.

Furthermore, it runs on Android Pie with ColorOS 6.0 and is backed by a 3765mAh battery with VOOC 3.0 fast charging. Coming to the cameras, it sports a 48-megapixel rear camera with Sony IMX586 sensor, AI scene recognition and a 5-megapixel secondary camera for capturing depth information. At the front, it has a 16-megapixel pop-up front camera which has been tested 200,000 times, according to the company.

There is also a Master Edition designed by Naoto Fukasawa in Onion and Garlic White colors with unique patterns at 1899 Yuan (~US$ 276 / Rs. 19,410). It will go on sale in China starting from May 20th.

Along with Realme X, the company has also introduced Realme X Youth Edition, which has similar specifications as of the Realme 3 Pro, which was launched in India, last month.
