Panasonic is all set to launch its mirrorless range of cameras under Lumix S series in India. The Lumix S series comprised of Panasonic Lumix S1 and S1R launched back in February this year. These cameras incorporate an array of innovations including digital technology like image or signal processing, optical and heat treatment technology among others.

Panasonic Lumix S1 And S1R Mirrorless Camera

The Panasonic Lumix S1 sports a 35mm full-frame complementary metal oxide semiconductor (CMOS) sensor and features HDR still photo mode, which can be played back on HLG-compliant televisions. Apart from that, it can shoot video at 4K@60fps with dual image stabilization and comes with tiltable LCD display, contrast AD and depth-from-defocus tech.

Not just 35mm full-frame CMOS sensor, but it also comes with a 24.2-megapixel full-frame CMOS sensor and supports professional use in videography. This camera also records smooth 4K 60p video and enables full-pixel readout of signals in 4K.

Coming to Panasonic Lumix S1R, it sports a 47.3-megapixel full-frame CMOS sensor. It features a high-resolution mode for the first time as a mirrorless full-frame camera to enable 187-megapixel ultra-high precision photo shooting, apparently enhancing the overall shooting experience.

These cameras are based on the L-Mount standard, which boasts a well-balanced design with performance as a mirrorless camera system. Well, Panasonic Lumix S1 and S1R are expected to be priced between Rs 2.5 and Rs 4 lakh (lens included). These mirrorless cameras will be launched in India on April 15.
