ASUS TUF FX505 With 120Hz Display And TUF FX705 With AMD Ryzen 5 3550H Announced

ASUS has announced its latest gaming laptops- ASUS TUF Gaming FX505DY and FX705DY powered by the latest AMD Ryzen 5 3550H processor. This new platform is paired with discrete Radeon graphics coupled with vivid FreeSync displays and is powered by the 2nd Gen Ryzen Mobile APU which is built on 12nm technology.

ASUS TUF FX505 And TUF FX705

The ASUS TUF Gaming FX505DY sports a 15.6-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080) display with 120Hz NanoEdge IPS-level, powered by AMD Ryzen 5 3550H coupled with Radeon RX 560X, paired with 32GB DDR4-2666 RAM and coupled with 512GB NVMe SSD with up to 1TB FireCuda SSHD.

It runs on Windows 10 OS. Coming to connectivity ports include 1 HDMI 2.0, 2 USB 3.1 Gen 1, 1 USB 2.0, Gigabit Ethernet, 802.11a/b/g/n/ac WLAN. It has a 48Wh battery and measures 14.2″ x 10.3″ x 0.98″ and weighs 2.19 Kgs.

The ASUS TUF FX705DY packs in a 17.3-inch Full HD (1920 x 1080) display with 60Hz NanoEdge IPS-level, powered by the AMD Ryzen 5 3550H coupled with Radeon RX 560X, paired with 32GB DDR4-2666 RAM and up to 1TB FireCuda SSHD.

It has a 64Wh battery and measures 15.7″ x 11″ x 1.06″ and weighs 2.5 Kgs. It runs on Windows 10. Well, both the laptops come with a specially-designed thermal solution which keeps internal temperatures in check and maintains consistent performance over time.

The ASUS TUF FX505DY and FX705DY is built with military-grade MIL-STD-810G standards for toughness. Both the laptops have a backlit keyboard, with Red Matter versions of FX505DY and FX705DY.

Both models feature DTS Headphone:X technology with 7.1-channel virtual surround. The ASUS TUF Gaming FX505DY and TUF Gaming FX705DY will be available from Q1. The company says that the configurations, availability, and pricing will vary by region.
