Huawei Watch GT: Ditched Android Wear OS!
Huawei’s Watch GT ditches Google’s WearOS and went with the company’s in-house Light OS platform. Well, Watch GT is available in two versions — Sport and Classic, and comes with a 1.39-inch circular AMOLED screen with 454 x 254 display, packs in an optical heart-rate monitor (HRM) with the usual array of sensors (such as an accelerometer), and is backed by a 420mAh battery.
Furthermore, the Watch GT also comes with built-in GPS. Without Android Wear, the Huawei Watch GT will lack many of the third-party app integrations out of the box, but it can give you two weeks of battery life, including heart-rate monitoring with high and low intensity. If you turn off GPS tracking and heart-rate monitoring, Huawei tells us the Watch GT will last 30 days for the message and call notifications.

Meanwhile, the Huawei Band 3 Pro sports a full 0.95-inch (color) AMOLED touchscreen and looks pretty similar last year’s Band 2 Pro, with support for “a range of precise and professional” medical monitoring capabilities, including heart-rate and sleep monitoring.
It has similar features to the Watch GT but in a smaller form factor. Huawei claims the tracker will last for up to 20 days of normal use and also promises big data analysis for personalized advice to improve your sleep quality.
