Dell Alienware 17 R5, Alienware 15 R4, Gaming Monitors, Alienware Aurora, And Area 51 Announced

Dell has upgraded its Alienware gaming laptops lineup, desktops, and introduced two new gaming monitors at its Gamescom 2018 press event in Cologne, Germany. The major improvement in the new Alienware laptops and desktops is in the performance and the graphics department. Apart from that Dell has also announced esports online training.

Alienware 17 R5 And Alienware 15 R4

The new Alienware gaming laptops lineup offers TactX keyboard. This supports per-key RGB lighting for up to 80 quadrillion color combinations. These new laptops are powered by a maximum of 8th Gen Intel Core i9 K-Series processors. They also support desktop graphics cards from NVIDIA or AMD with the optional Graphics Amplifier.

As for connectivity, these laptops feature e2500 Gigabit Ethernet, 802.11ac 2×2 Wireless, and Bluetooth 5.0 technology. These new Alienware 15 and 17 laptops will be available on Dell.com from August 21. They are priced at $1,399.99 (roughly Rs 97,760) and $1,599.99 (roughly Rs 1,11,705) respectively.

Dell Gaming Monitors

Dell has launched two new 24-inch and 27-inch Gaming monitors at Gamescom. The new Dell 24-inch Gaming monitor sports a Full HD display while, with a refresh rate of 144Hz. On the other hand, the 27-inch gaming monitor has a QHD panel with 155Hz refresh rate. Furthermore, users can easily switch on/off AMD FreeSync, customize the three-defined profiles and select preset modes for a completely personalized gaming experience.

As far as design aesthetics are concerned these monitors come with a Recon-Blue metallic coating that makes these monitors look and feel premium. These new Dell Gaming monitors can be purchased from Dell’s website. The monitors retail for $319.99 (roughly Rs 22,350) for the 24-inch model and $549.99 (roughly Rs 38,410) for the 27-inch model.

Alienware Aurora And Area 51

Dell also refreshed the Alienware Aurora and Area 51 desktops. The Alienware Aurora will come with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070, 2080 and 2080 Ti GPUs. This makes it ideal for VR, 4K gaming and even up to 12K gaming. Furthermore, the flagship Alienware Area-51 will be powered by up to 18-core Intel processors coupled with just announced NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2070, 2080 and 2080 Ti GPUs.
