1. Uninstall Unused Applications
The first thing you can do to improve the performance of your device is to uninstall all the applications that you haven’t used for more than a month. Most users won’t be aware of the default animation scale on their smartphone and the number of resources that these animations consume. Well, you can lower down these animations or completely turn them off, for a faster and smoother user experience.

Most smartphone manufacturers regularly offer OTA updates that are focused towards improving the performance of your smartphone and fixing some bugs. The same applies to applications. Turn on automatic updates in the Play Store to ensure that you receive the latest updates as soon as an app’s resource-hogging, battery-draining bugs get fixed.
