Lenovo owned Moto announced the expansion of its Z series with the unveiling Moto Z3. The main highlight of the smartphone is its dual rear cameras, side mounted fingerprint scanner and the fact that it supports Moto Mods.

Moto Z3: Refraining Moto Mod Last Time
The Z3 comes with a 6-inch Super AMOLED with 2160×1080p resolution, powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC (yes, a year old), coupled with 4GB RAM, 64GB storage, runs on Android 8.1 Oreo and all these are backed by a 3000mAh battery.
Coming to the camera, the Z3 packs in dual rear cameras with one color 12 MP f/2.0 sensor with 1.25um pixels and a 12 MP monochrome sensor, and a dual-LED flash. There’s an 8 MP f/2.0 shooter for selfies with 1.12um pixel size and an 84-degree field-of-view.

The new iteration of Z series is as always has splash resistant and has the power button on the left side with the fingerprint scanner sitting on the right side. This smartphone ditched the 3.5mm audio jack for a USB Type-C port.

The Moto Z3 is exclusive to Verizon and once the carrier’s 5G network is available next year, you will be able to purchase a 5G Moto Mod that will bring support for the newer technology to your Z3 since it will pack Qualcomm’s X50 modem (as well as an extra 2,000 mAh of juice to power that fast connection).
The Moto Z3 with Ceramic Black (only) will be available at Verizon on August 16 for US$480 full retail, or 24 monthly installments of US$20. You can also buy any Moto Mod that’s over $100 for just $50, for a limited time only.
