ASUS has started producing next-generation ultra-fast Wi-Fi routers. Well, ASUS has announced three gaming routers, that will support the newest 802.11ax Wi-Fi standards. So here’s everything you need to know about these high-performance routers.

ASUS ROG Rapture GT-AX11000

ROG Rapture GT-AX11000 is the most powerful among the three routers announced. This router solves the problem of reduction in speed as more and more people are connected to the same WI-Fi network. Well, the router offers a spaceship-like design and has a total of eight antennas to increase the reach.

The router has one 2.4GHz band that reaches a maximum speed of 1148Mbps. There are two 5GHz bands that are supposed to reach 4804Mbps. The router also comes with a “Turbo Key” to significantly increase the speed. Lastly, there’s a 2.5Gbps Ethernet port. These Speeds are truly impressive as compared to today’s standards.

ASUS AX6100 And ASUS RT-AX88U

Asus 802.11ax Based Gaming Router

The other two router announced by ASUS are AX6100 and RT-AX88U. These two routers will be more main-stream. AX6100 will have one 5GHz band dedicated for communications between router units and the other two bands for communicating with older and newer devices. This router relies on tri-band mesh system. Well, the RT-AX88U is a dual-band model with a total speed that supposedly reaches 6000Mbps.

The gaming routers also provide a dedicated 5GHz band for gaming devices. This will prevent other devices from affecting the performance of gaming devices by reducing the overall speed. Well, these gaming oriented routers are based on mesh system.

Furthermore, the 802.11ax standard is still not widely adopted, but it truly depicts the blazing fast internet speeds that we will use in future.
