After a long saga of leaks, rumors, and teasers. Xiaomi has finally unveiled its latest flagship smartphone – Xiaomi Mi 8. The main highlight of this smartphone is its AMOLED notched display, dual rear cameras with AI features, and dual-band GPS.

Xiaomi Mi 8: The Flagship
Xiaomi Mi 8 comes with a 6.21-inch Samsung AMOLED FHD+ notch display with 18.7:9 aspect ratio, powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC, coupled with 6GB RAM, 64GB / 128GB / 256GB storage, runs on MIUI 10 upon Android and all these are backed by a ?mAH battery.
Coming to the camera department, the Mi 8 sports dual 12-megapixel rear cameras. The main camera features Sony IMX363 with 1.4-micron pixels with Dual Pixel autofocus, 4-axis optical image stabilization, AI portrait mode, AI scene detection, and a dual-tone LED flash. The second unit, on the other side, is a telephoto lens based on Samsung sensor.
The phone comes equipped with Studio Lighting and delivers AI enhanced portrait photography. At the front, it has 20-megapixel camera with f/2.0 aperture, AI portrait selfies, and AI Beauty mode.

Coming to the connectivity features, the Xiaomi Mi 8 is being touted as the world’s first dual-band (L1-L5) GPS smartphone. This feature eliminates interference from buildings and decreases signal delays, which increases the accuracy of navigation with the Mi 8.
