Motorola finally unveiled the G series lineup for 2018. This time around Motorola has launched three G series smartphones, these are the Moto G6 Plus, the Moto G6, and the Moto G6 Play.

All these smartphones are mid-range devices with pretty impressive specifications to intensify user experience. So, here’s a detailed comparison and key differences between these three smartphones.

Moto G6 Plus, Moto G6, And Moto G6 Play: Design And Display

Moto G6 Plus offers the best of all three 5.93 inches Full HD+ display with a resolution of 1080×2160 pixels and an 18:9 aspect ratio.The design ergonomics look pretty down close the previous generation Moto G5s Plus. Well, the Moto G6 Plus has corning gorilla glass 3 protection and is waterproof as well.

Moto G6 has a 5.70 inches full-HD+ display with a resolution of 1080×2160 pixels and an 18:9 aspect ratio. The Moto G6 looks strikingly similar to the G6 Plus. The smartphone is available in black color only. Moto G6 also offers a waterproof body. Overall the design looks pretty clean and sturdy.

Lastly, the Moto G6 offers a 5.70 inches HD+ display with a resolution of 720×1440 pixels and an 18:9 aspect ratio. Unlike, the Moto G6 Plus and Moto G6 the Moto G6 Play has the fingerprint sensor on the back of smartphone body. The fingerprint sensor is integrated within the Motorola logo.

Moto G6 Plus, Moto G6, And Moto G6 Play: Performance And Storage

The Moto G6 Plus is powered by a 2.2GHz octa-core Snapdragon 630 processor. The device runs on Android 8.0 Oreo with nearly stock Android UI. The smartphone offers a maximum of 64GB storage with up to 4GB RAM. Moto G6 Plus is backed up by a 3200mAh battery.

Moto G6 is powered by a 1.8GHz octa-core Snapdragon 450 processor. This smartphone also runs on  Android 8.0 Oreo with nearly stock Android UI. Moto G6 offers a maximum of 32GB internal storage coupled with 3GB RAM. The device can easily last an entire day with the 3000mAh battery.

Moto G6 Play is powered by a 1.4GHz octa-core Snapdragon 427 processor. Moto G6 Play offers a maximum of 32GB internal storage with around 3GB RAM. Well, G6 Play offers a maximum of 4000mAh battery. The G6 Play also runs on Android 8.0 Oreo.

Moto G6 Plus, Moto G6, And Moto G6 Play: Camera, Connectivity, And Price

Moto G6 Plus offers a dual camera setup with 12-megapixel primary sensor with an aperture of f/1.7 and dual Autofocus Pixel technology. There’s also a 5-megapixel secondary sensor. The front-facing camera has an 8-megapixel sensor. The smartphone has Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, 4G LTE, NFC and USB Type-C.

Moto G6 also offers a dual camera setup with a 12-megapixel primary shooter and a 5-megapixel secondary sensor. On the front side, you get a 16-megapixel sensor with selfie flash. Talking about connectivity, you get 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.2, USB Type-C and GPS/ A-GPS.

Moto G6 Plus

The Moto G6 Play offers a 13-megapixel rapid-focus camera sensor with a f/2.0 aperture. These cameras are really capable in bright sunlight. There’s an 8-megapixel front-facing camera sensor. The connectivity features are almost similar to the Moto G6. Lastly, talking about pricing.

These smartphones are yet not announced in India. Hence, the actual pricing may vary. You can get the Moto G6 Plus for around 24,000 INR, the Moto G6 for 16,500 INR and the Moto G6 Play for 13,000 INR.
