Land Rover has launched a smartphone, which is claimed to be the toughest phone in the world; Land Rover Explore. The company has teamed up with Bullitt, a reading-based phone maker to launch a Land Rover-branded smartphone.

Land Rover Explore Launched
The Explore is designed to deal with extreme temperatures and water and is aimed at skiers, mountaineers, and adventurous junkies who are frustrated at their regular smartphones running out of battery halfway through a day.
The Explore boasts a rugged design (inspired by Land Rover’s 4×4 cars), advanced GPS, and a 4000mAh battery, that is said to provide power for two full days. The phone is fitted with a protective case that can survive in both fresh and salt water in depths of up to 1.8 meters.

Land Rover has also added a range of additional packs namely “Adventure Pack”, which has 3,600mAh additional battery, TPU protective case, and stainless steel carabiner. And a “Bike Pack” with a bike mount for both the bike stem and handlebars.
The phone is pre-loaded with a handful of apps such as ViewRanger, advanced navigation tool and augmented reality. The Explore phone with Adventure Pack costs £599 ($840) and will be unveiled at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona on 26 February.
